Patricia Avery, a native of Champaign well known in the
political arena, is now positioning herself for the 10 way race in the upcoming consolidated primary race in February for the Champaign City Council. Tricia is excited about her run. She hopes that her record, her 8 years of experience as County Board Member, and her 4 years as County Board Chair will lead her to victory in February. The Champaign City Council needs new ideas, new leadership, and a friend to all people regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation, or economic status.
